Fiery Moment: Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy Explodes in Anger, Shoving Cameraman After Unexpected Lens Collision

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has been accused of angrily shoving a cameraman following their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

The struggling Cowboys dropped to 5-8 with the 27-20 defeat. The result came despite Dallas being favored to win after they picked up field position with a blocked punt while the game was deadlocked at 20.

Unfortunately, a Cowboys player touched the ball past the line of scrimmage – giving the ball back to Cincinnati as they closed the win.

After the upsetting loss, McCarthy was seen stopping in his tracks after nearly getting hit by a camera crew member as he walked off the field.

Dov Kleiman posted the clip and phrased it as if the coach maliciously shoved the staffer in the interaction.

‘HOLY S**T: #Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy SHOVES a cameraman who accidentally bumped into him,’ he wrote.

Following a handshake, McCarthy turned around when the cameraman cut his path, nearly striking him with his lens. Luckily, McCarthy leaned back, avoiding contact before instinctively making contact to let the cameraman know he was there.

While he grabbed the cameraman’s wrist with his right hand and placed his left on the staffer’s shoulder, McCarthy did not throw his hands forward to shove him away.

Users took to the comment section to oppose Kleiman’s exaggerated claim.

‘Seemed like they just got caught up in the same spot at the same time. That wasn’t really egregious,’ a fan pointed out.

‘This was not an intentional shove. Stop it. I’m in no way shape or form a Dallas fan, but I’m sorry this was accidental,’ another chimed in.

‘Better tackle than most of his players,’ a third quipped.

‘Who would call that a shove?’ asked a fourth user.

‘Camera man needs to know what he is doing. He didn’t react poorly. That was just a love push,’ a fifth noted.

McCarthy’s side sits third in the NFC East with four games left this season. The Cowboys will head to Charlotte on Sunday to face the Carolina Panthers.
