Brittany Williams is living her best life after her split from Bills quarterback Josh Allen last year.
The influencer, who was with Allen for 10 years before they called it quits in early 2023, explained her “absolutely crazy” dating life after she recently moved to New York City.
During the latest installment of “Martinis and Bikinis” podcast, host Veronica Droulia asked “how do you feel transitioning from that into dating now?” to which Williams said, “That is the question of the century.
When the host mentioned that the exes “were together for a really long time,” Williams explained she was going through a “difficult” time
“I was with my ex boyfriend for 10 years,” she said. “I would say that coming into the dating world was very, very, very difficult for me at first because I’m just like, I never thought I would be here again. But here I am, I am very happy now. The dating life in New York is absolutely crazy but it’s so much fun. It was so entertaining.
“I’m giddy right now just talking about it because it’s so much fun. I’m having the ‘Sex and the City’ moment… It is crazy out here on these streets, I’ll just say that. It’s hard but it’s beautiful because it makes you realize everything you want and makes you not settle for anything more than that.
“For me, it’s been the most fun and exciting experience and I’ve learned so much about myself. I’ve learned what I like and what I don’t like and I’m not going to entertain anything other than someone that I think is actually meant for me or whatever it is.”
While Williams did not mention Allen by name, the two had a well-documented relationship.
Williams and Allen went public with their relationship in 2017, but had known each other since they were 8-year-old family friends growing up in Fresno, Calif.
“At first I was just saying yes to whatever I could at first, but I think after a while you’re like dating isn’t always fun and games,” she said. “I had to take a step back and be like, I need to grow and learn on my own and figure out what it is that makes me happy and once you do that then people just start flocking to you because they can feel the confidence, and that just radiates through friendships and family and attracts the right people to you.”
They fueled breakup rumors last April after Williams appeared to remove any trace of their relationship on Instagram.
It came a month after they vacationed together.
“The hard things make you and force you to look in the mirror and be like, what is it really that makes you, you,” she said, adding that she’s “been in a really big reflecting period right now.”
Allen has since moved on with actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld.
The Pro Bowl quarterback was first spotted out with Steinfeld in Manhattan on May 25, 2023, in photos obtained by The Post.
